Per Vogue, Y/Project rolled out a collaboration with Ugg at Paris Fashion Week Men’s yesterday. That collaboration includes slouchy, expensive, thigh-high Ugg boots.
“Putting on Uggs is like putting your foot in a warm pot of butter, and I thought why not elevate that and immerse your full legs!” Y/Project’s creative director Glenn Martens explained of his vision: “So we decided to design an Ugg boot that climbs up to the crotch and covers the whole leg.”
According to the New York Post, all versions seen in the collection will be available for purchase later this year. Also, they’ll range from $270 to $1,380.
Both men and women wore the boots down the runway, once and for all settling the longtime debate that not everyone can pull off deliciously ugly things. Related: pls contribute to my soon-to-be-live crowdfunding page raising money for me to get a pair.
